        About FLAMINGO II

FLAMINGO ll is a truly purpose-designed motor sailer, designed by the famous Joe Adams as a genuine live-aboard / cruising vessel. She performs equally well under sail or under her generous 120hp six cylinder Ford-Bowden diesel engine and was professionally built in Brisbane and launched in 1987. The vessel is Australian Registered. She has been well maintained throughout her life. With her luxurious steel wheelhouse with toughened glass windows, she is superbly designed to "go anywhere, in almost any conditions."

      • Time for the next chapter

As proud owners of FLAMINGO II, we've lived aboard for almost 15 years and spent much of that time exploring the east coast of Australia.

The boating life is littered with friends and acquaintances at seemingly every port as they come and go within the sailing community.

We'll miss the freedom of living on the boat and exploring the world, but the time has come for us to move back to dry land, find new owners for our beloved boat and reluctantly say goodbye to a magnificent lifestyle. The wonderful memories will last forever.
